I’ve been spending the last few weeks meeting lots of Mules and Buyers in Buenos Aires — partially to get to know the users and learn what they do or don’t want; partially to build our community; and largely because… it’s fun and I enjoy it
So: if there is anyone out there who using the site, interested in it, or has any questions — let me know! I’d love to have a coffee with you! Our treat, our invitation
Email me at: schlep@themulepool.com. I’m looking forward to it!

I don’t know why, but this article about Denmark banning Marmite (mmmmm, Marmite!) made me think of the Mule Pool!
A suggestion to Buyers who aren’t getting enough Mules:
Don’t forget the sales tax!
In Argentina, there is no “sales tax”. Instead, there is a “VAT”, of about 21%, that is included in the price. So many Argentines just don’t know the American system: where 9% sales tax is added ON TOP OF, in addition to, the cost of the item. Since this system is weird and foreign to those from VAT-countries like Argentina — when a VAT-ter posts to the site, they often forget to include enough to cover the sales tax!
So, suggestion: include the sales tax! Or, if you don’t, don’t be surprised if a Mule asks for it.
Note to Mules: don’t be shy–if a poster forgets to include the Sales Tax, chirp up!
